I was born and bred in the Waikato but I soon spread my wings and spent time living in Australia and England where I spent every spare penny travelling and exploring as many countries as I could get to. My husband and I moved to the Bay in 2016 from Auckland, where we have planted our roots and now call Papamoa home. We added to our family in January 2018, with the birth of our beautiful daughter Aisha and again in April 2020, when our son Jagger arrived. And of course we can't forget the little tank, Gia our British Bulldog.
I'm passionate about many things in life, but one of my biggest passions is exploring this body that we inhabit, be it through movement, food, life challenges, and natural holistic healthcare. I have always had a fascination with the body and how it works and I now have a love affair with continually learning more about it every day.
In osteopathy I have found an exquisite exploration of the body and a holistic hands-on approach to treatment that is incredibly rewarding. In osteopathy we believe that the body has the ability to heal itself but that sometimes it may just need a gentle nudge in the right direction to do so, and this is where I come in. I love that osteopathy has opened the doors for me to be able to help others feel and function the best they can. I have a keen interest in treating pre and post natal related issues, neck pain, headaches, and breathing patterns, but if you come in with a sprained ankle, back pain, or any other pain, I would still love to see you. I am incredibly passionate and excited about my practice and I am immensely grateful to be able to say my job is also my my passion.
In yoga I have found a place of self-expression and a path to deeper self-discovery. It has been a place of solace and an outlet of both happy and sad emotions. It calms and invigorates me, it is the perfect balance of yin and yang and it has truly been one of the biggest game changes in my life. It is delicious!
Each day I am still learning and growing and I feel excited to share the knowledge and experiences that I pick up along the way in hope that it may inspire others to start making choices that nourish not only themselves but the people they share their lives with also.
