Private Group Yoga
Private 60 minute group yoga sessions, with a max of 4 people.
Bring your partner, family, friends, or work mates for a more intimate yoga session.
More one-on-one attention: You will be guided through your class with your yoga instructor paying close attention to your practice, providing cues on correct alignment and ensuring a safe practice.
You choose the style: One week you may want a more energetic vinyasa class and the next you may want to unwind with a slow yin class.
Good place to start: Small group yoga sessions may allow you to transition into larger group classes if you have previously not had the confidence to do so.
At a time that suits you: If group classes never seem to run at a time that works for you, a private yoga session can fit into your schedule.
Choose from the following styles:
Yin yoga is a more passive, introspective, yielding form of yoga that targets your deeper connective tissues such as ligaments, tendons, joint capsules, and fascia. Poses are held for 2-6 minutes so you can relax deep into each pose with minimal muscle activation. This is a quite calm practice that is close to the earth and compliments classes and other activities that are more yang orientated and provides a balance to fast-paced lifestyles.
Restorative yoga is a gentle, relaxing, passive form of yoga that is a delicious way to soothe a frazzled nervous system. This practice should relax and rejuvenate you with poses held for up to 10 minutes that allow you to completely let go. Restorative classes use a number of props such as blocks, bolsters, and blankets that provide support so your body can experience the benefits of a pose without having to exert any effort. This is a great class to do at the end of the week to unwind.
allows students to relax and release the body into a gentle stretch that is held for as long as 10 minutes. This style makes use of a wide range of props, including bolsters, blocks, straps and blankets. The intention is to provide support within each pose, making it easier to completely leg go.
Yang Power Yoga
Yang power yoga is much more active targeting and enhancing your muscles allowing strength, stamina, flexibility, and postural alignment to be improved. This class also has an emphasis on the cardiovascular system as it stimulates the heart and gets the blood pumping. As you work through sun salutations and dynamic sequences that are designed to work the whole body you will be sure to work up a sweat.
Yoga Shred – HIIT Yoga
HIIT (High Intensity Interval Training) yoga is a yoga shred inspired class that targets your fast-twitch muscle fibres that will build muscle definition and strength. You will get your heart rate up enough to trigger cardiovascular optimisation, fat and calorie burn, and raise your metabolic rate. The combination of yoga and HIIT is fierce, fun, and empowering!
All classes are suited to all levels of experience.
Please advise your yoga teacher if you are pregnant and of any medical conditions or injuries you may have before the commencement of your class so that your teacher is able to provide you with a safe and effective practice.
